With the Yorkshire Dales Cheese Festival in full swing we thought we promote the Dairy Days project at pubs and hotels in the area by producing this fun beermat with a little quiz on the back.
Look out for them if you are up in Wensleydale this week. We had fun researching the answers to the questions about the different types of cheese produced depending on the time of year and what the cows were being fed on. Very different to today’s need to produce a consistently flavoured and textured cheese week in week out.
