Advertising
With a huge annual print run of 125,000 copies and nationwide distribution, The Visitor is a great place to promote your business.
This highly successful, long-standing publication, which has kept visitors informed since 1981, changed to a brand new, beautifully designed magazine format in 2017. This has been very positively received as the new size racks well and can be clearly seen in Tourist Information Centres (TIC).
The magazine is distributed FREE nationally via the TIC network and locally through all National Park Visitor Centres, B&Bs, visitor attractions and many other outlets.
Packed with useful information for visitors, including visitor centre locations, car parking and cash points, it contains a huge events section and informative centre-spread map.
What our advertisers think…
“We’re very long-standing, annual advertisers in The Visitor as it’s the perfect publication for promoting our Skipton restaurants.”
Katie Davison, Bizzie Lizzie’s
“It’s great to have such an informative publication in the area – not just for visitors, but residents use it, too. We like to advertise in it as we feel it reaches so many people.”
Susan Cunliffe-Lister, Masham Sheep Fair
“The Visitor is a great magazine, highlighting all that is good about the Yorkshire Dales. Drystone walls form the fabric of the Dales, so we are pleased to advertise our walling training courses in a magazine dedicated to the area.”
John Pridmore, Yorkshire Dry Stone Walling Guild
“We have advertised in The Visitor for over thirty years. The switch to magazine format is a significant improvement to this key Yorkshire Dales publication. We are delighted with the new look.”
William Bagshaw, Managing Director, White Scar Cave
“Without a doubt, advertising in The Visitor has proved to be a highly effective way of attracting those coming to see the Yorkshire Dales National Park to visit us at Parcevall Hall Gardens.”
John Martin, Parcevall Hall Gardens
