Mosses of Upper Swaledale

A walk led by Sue & Les Knight who live locally and enjoy the mosses of upper Swaledale. There will be an initial introductory session, with hand lenses, in the visitor centre to allow familiarisation with some species before a local walk. The speed of moss walks is often described as ‘glacial’ to allow everyone to study the various specimens.
