Dairy Days school trip

Our education specialist Heather Hodgson has put together a really interesting Dairy Days-themed project for local secondary schools. Last week thirty students from The Wensleydale School in Leyburn enjoyed a full day of exploring the history & traditions of dairying. It even included demos at the Wensleydale Creamery, quizzes at the Dales Countryside Museum and a visit to a traditional Dales farm, Lowlands in Askrigg.
