
The line
The Eden Valley Railway is a heritage railway in Cumbria. It runs over a 2.2 miles section of the original Eden Valley Railway in a north-westerly direction from the line’s base at Warcop station. The Eden Valley Railway Trust is working towards restoration of the railway line between Warcop and Appleby-in-Westmorland.
Walks and activities
The Eden Valley Railway is on the outskirts of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. From the railway you can reach the beautiful Westmorland Dales with lovely rural towns and villages, such as Kirkby Stephen.
