Yore Mill Craft Shop and Gallery

Julie and Steve invite you to join us here at our Craft Shop and Gallery located next to the Upper Falls at Aysgarth.

Located in the former Mill building at Aysgarth Falls Yore Mill Craft Shop and Gallery opened in July 2021. Its gallery looks out over the Upper Falls and it is unlikely that there are many finer views out of a gallery window in Yorkshire or beyond.

The Falls have attracted the famous over the centuries, Wordsworth honeymooned here, Turner painted here and more recently of course was the film location for Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (1991) and Wuthering Heights (1992).

The Craft Shop and Gallery includes works by an ever-growing number of artists and makers from across Yorkshire and the North of England and a selection of items by independent makers from across the UK.

Alongside the originals displayed here we have a range of prints, ceramics, glassware, metalwork, sculptures, wood craft and cards.

Included in these works is that of Julie Edwardson, co-owner who also runs art classes here out of her studio. Check our website for our full range of classes.

Julie is drawn to details in the landscape working mainly with acrylic paint and mixed media collage taking inspiration from nature and the effects of man on the landscape.

We look forward to seeing you here at the Craft Shop and Gallery. Our aim is to share the wonderful works being created by the wonderful artist and makers in our region with visitors and local folk alike and making it somewhere where you can pick up that little reminder of your visit here as well as offering you the chance to buy something that little bit special for your home or that gift for someone special.

Check our website for further information and booking details.

We are a Dark Sky Friendly Business and are involved in a range of Astronomical Events here beneath the beautiful dark skies in the Dales.

There is very limited parking at the Mill so we recommend that you park in the National Park Car Park (DL8 3TH) a couple of minutes away and walk down the footpath to us.
