West Winds is a quirky Dales cottage situated in the pretty village of Buckden at the head of Wharfedale.  We are ideally located as a stopover for four long distance national walking trails including the Dales Way and Wainwright’s Pennine Journey.

West Winds B&B accommodation is self-contained, with three comfortable bedrooms and a shared bathroom.  This makes it ideal for small groups of friends or families of up to four people, although single occupancy is also an option.

You will be greeted with hot drinks and home made cake on arrival and we have a delicious array of breakfast choices.  Packed lunches can also be provided.  There is a pub in the village and others nearby which serve excellent evening meals.

Step out the door and you will find yourself in beautiful scenery, with great walks and all the peace and quiet your soul needs.  On a clear night, enjoy the panorama of the Milky Way in Buckden’s Dark Sky Discovery Site.

Secure overnight bike storage is available for cyclists.
