The Beamsley Project Charitable Trust has been welcoming guests for over 24 years.  Based in the Yorkshire Dales we offer self-catering accommodation to groups and families who have additional needs.  Our centre is a base providing you the opportunity to tailor make your holiday to suit the needs of your group or family.  Our group centre was formally the Beamsley Methodist Church and is set within beautiful gardens just off the A59 Harrogate Road.

Bedrooms

Our centre accommodates between 12 and 24 guests in 8 bedrooms over two floors. Two of these bedrooms have profiling beds.  We have a lift from the ground floor to ensure that all areas of the building are fully wheelchair accessible.   If you require any more space, there is also a cottage available just next door, for up to 6 people over 3 bedrooms and 2 floors.  One of the beds in the cottage is a profiling bed.  This allows us to accommodate groups of up to 30 people.  

Bathrooms

Our centre has one main bathroom on the ground floor with a bath & shower, adult sized changing table with shower and tracking ceiling hoist.  There are also two further roll in wet rooms and 3 toilets on the ground floor.  The two bedrooms located on the 1st floor are both en-suite, one with a roll in wet room and one with a shower cubicle with shower seat.

Kitchen

We have a full catering kitchen with adjustable height hob and work tops, utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.    

Areas for relaxation and dining

On the ground floor there a cosy lounge area with Internet TV and bubble tower and a dining room to seat 30 plus guests

Langbar Hall is our large relaxation area on the 1st floor with games, table tennis, small pool table and plenty of seating for large groups or activities such as yoga or dancing. This room also has an induction loop.  

Equipment

At no extra cost we have a number of hoists, shower chairs, commodes and cot sides available for you to use.  

Catering

Our centre is self-catering but we do work with a number of outside caterers, who can provide hot and cold buffets or full 3 course meals to suit your individual groups needs at an extra cost.  

Location

We are located within 5 mins drive of Bolton Abbey which has some amazing walks along the river, which are fully accessible by wheelchairs and buggies.  We are also within 15mins drive of Skipton and Ilkley.
