Situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Fox & Hounds Inn is one of the oldest buildings in West Witton, brimming with history, and with a friendly, welcoming vibe. Our outside beer garden and covered terrace are perfect for Al-fresco drinking, whilst in Winter we can offer cask ales by a cosy fireside.

The Fox, as it is known locally, is a friendly and welcoming traditional pub and restaurant, with cask conditioned ales and a superb wine list. The iconic Penhill Beacon is within walking distance, with trails to explore in all directions, including hiking paths to Carlton, Middleham, Aysgarth Falls, and West Burton Falls. Dogs and children are most welcome. We have a choice of Bed & Breakfast and Self-Catering Accommodation.
