Facilities At River House:

Today we combines modern facilities at River House, with period elegance all 8 bedrooms are en-suite, 2 with baths & showers the other 6 have showers some power showers.  We  have a licensed  lounge bar with wood burning stove, which then leads through to the large dining room. A smaller room just off reception is the snug, where there is lots of reading material on the area of Malham and the dales, playing card, chess and other board games.There is free parking at River House to the front and to the side of the house, and secure locked storage for bikes in the garage.We now have Free super fast broadband WiFi available through out the house.Please note = we do not allow pets & we only accept children over 11 years of age to stay at River House.

The Bedrooms:

 All bedrooms are non-smoking, as is the rest of River House. The ground floor twin room is ideal for easy access for the less able walkers. All bedrooms are en-suites & have heated towel rails. Complimentary Duck Island toiletries & fluffy towels. The bedrooms all have flat digital screen TV’s, hair dryers, plentiful supply of Yorkshire teas & coffee, fresh milk, home-made biscuits/cake. Free wireless internet. Royal Institute of Public Health and Hygiene Certificate

Breakfast:

Choose each morning from the breakfast table, = Fruit compote, yoghurt’s, fresh juices, cereals & sliced fresh fruit, followed by the Yorkshire dales Aga cooked breakfast, or kippers, and omelets for a lighter option.  Toast & Yorkshire preserve & Yorkshire honey.Click here to view our breakfast menu…

Packed lunches:

Packed Lunches are available to pre order or to be ordered at the time of check in / night before.

Drying room / laundry:

For guests there is a drying room to hang wet clothes and boots in. Laundry, washing machine is available (for a small charge)

Car Parking:

There is free parking right outside to the front of River House, also to the side of the house, between us and the Buck inn. with free parking also available opposite the house on the other side of the road. need more info on parking just ring or email for more information.

 Secure bike storage:

On site we have a lockable garage which is used for  locked bike storage, should you arrive on a bike or bring one with you to use during your stay with us.

Where to relax:

The snug is where you will find Board games & lots of reading material on walks on the area of Malhamdale, and the Yorkshire dales. The licensed lounge bar is a delightful place to return to each evening, with a wood burning stove for those chilly evenings & a well stocked bar & a new world wine list.Guests are provided with their own keys so they can come & go as they please.Walking groups & special family get together’s are always welcome at river house.
