We have been teaching pottery courses at Bentham for the last 35 years. We specialize in teaching how to throw pottery on a wheel. Check out our throwing demonstration videos to gain an understanding of our techniques.  We also teach some hand building, coil pottery, slip trailing and decorating as part of a wider course.

Next to Bentham Pottery and set in 6 acres of beautiful countryside with superb panoramic views in all directions are 4 self catering cottages. These cottages make first class holiday homes for discovering the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, Forest of Bowland and West Coast resorts as well as providing accommodation for people attending our pottery courses.

We also have a small caravan site with 5 electric hook ups, washroom and shower room.
