Learning and education visits – health and safety

All our group leaders, Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority staff and volunteers and external providers we work with are fully trained to deliver our activities safely and with regard to the needs of your group.

We provide a risk assessment for every session, when you book a visit with us our team will talk to you about the abilities and experience of your group members and plan the visit based on what you have told them.

We provide any PPE required for activities, you can borrow waterproofs and we have some boots we can loan our to members of your group.

All of our team are qualified first aiders and have specialist walk leader training, they always carry a first aid kit, a group shelter and spare clothes.

If you still have questions about health and safety on your education visit contact us.
