In this fascinating talk, expert Richard Lamb compares two very different, well known former lead smelting mills.  Richard will discuss the well preserved Grinton Mill and the practically invisible Octagon Mill which has disappeared almost without trace.  Richard will also discuss the question of hushing, using local examples from Arkengarthdale.  Questions from the audience will be welcome.
