The first day of the new Festival, on Saturday 29 July, will be all about getting out and exploring the wonderful landscape of the Westmorland Dales with a programme of walks organised by Kirkby Stephen’s Walkers are Welcome.

On Sunday 30 July, Kirkby Stephen will continue the celebrations of our area and its heritage and the people who live and work here with the usual great mix of conservation and craft stalls; a food and farmers’ market; and entertainment and activities for all the family.
