The Waterline project is facilitated by Joan Baxter, with support from Irene Evison and Anna Wetherell of Nearly Wild Weaving.

The ‘Waterline’ exhibition will feature the work from the project which will run from early September 2021 through to January 2022. Participants in the project will create their own interpretation of the chosen theme and design their own tapestry based on certain criteria that they agreed together, and that will allow the individual pieces to hang together to tell a story.

The end product will be a composite tapestry that reflects the theme of the flow of a river and is made up of a series of individual tapestries that relate to each other.
