Practice mindfulness and connect with nature whilst being guided by skilled and trained mindfulness teacher, Martin Summerfield. You will be invited to take part in simple mindful movements and breathing exercises and you will engage your senses in walking in the local landscape to fully calm and relax yourself.
Mindfulness is a practice that involves becoming more aware of what’s happening in the present moment, rather than worrying about the past or what might happen in the future. It’s about observing what’s going on, in a friendly and non-judgemental way.
There is a growing body of evidence demonstrating the benefits of practising mindfulness in a range of areas, such as stress reduction, general wellbeing, as well as the many benefits of being in the outdoors, such as helping eliminate fatigue and lowering blood pressure.
