The Pie at Night

As part of the Dark Skies Fringe Festival 2021, we are delighted to announce an evening star gazing with Martin Whip, the Director of the Lime Tree Observatory, Grewelthorpe, under some of the darkest skies in the UK, here in Berrys, Leyburn.  Come and enjoy a warming supper and a presentation, before stepping outside for some star spotting and astronomy, along with expert guidance.  Suitable for families and all ages. £20 per head.

  • Run-down of the evening:
    7:00 pm – Arrival
    7:15 pm – Supper of steak and ale pie, mash and seasonal vegetables.
    7:45 pm – A talk from Martin Whip to introduce the evening and give a presentation, with a large screen.
    8:30 pm – A walk outside under the darkest skies with telescopes and guidance.
