Suitable for KS1/KS2 children, this is a fully interactive online workshop in which children will be able to participate fully, join in with live experiments and crafts, as well as further their knowledge about space in a fun and entertaining way.

Delivered by “Space Detectives” as part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Dark Skies Festival 2022.

Space Detectives is a professional Space Outreach Education company based here in the UK. Jo (the owner) is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and one of the current 6 UK Space Champions working on behalf of the European Space Education Office. Her enthusiasm for all things “Space” and “Astronomy” will most certainly guarantee to inspire you to “look up” and see the wonders of the Universe around us. Specialising in children’s education, all her workshops are fun, totally interactive and immersive. Each comes with a downloadable resource pack which will be used live within the session.
