June Line-up

Alex Boardman

One of the most sought after acts in the country due to his ability to interact with any audience and to seemingly conjure something out of nothing, Alex based in Manchester has performed all over the world. In 2008 Alex was nominated in the Rising Star category at the Sony Awards for his work on the Galaxy FM breakfast show which received record figures for any show in the stations 10 year history! His free flowing style and natural charm breeze through in performances and his unique brand of ‘flattery and abuse’ is done with a lack of malice and a big sense of fun!

Dave Twentyman

Dave is upbeat, cheery, down to earth, friendly, warm and quick on his feet…just some of the words to describe one of the most naturally funny comics on the UK comedy circuit today. He has 13 years experience performing stand-up comedy around the UK and abroad. He has appeared on ITV, been a regular guest on XFM, Radio Manchester/Lancashire, regular columnist for his local paper, writer for Jason Mansford and Dave Spikey and now features on the Blackpool Comedy Carpet amongst the most popular comics in British comedy history. Known for his quick witted banter, Dave survived a childhood in St Helens by evolving rapid, startlingly-bright patter and a smile that he somehow stole from Barry Manilow!

Mike Wilkinson

Full to the brim with down to earth Northern charm, Mike takes a bemused glance at the world and then throws it a smile. The laughs come thick and fast with Wilkinson’s dry humour and razor sharp wit.

Mike Wilkinson started his career by reaching the finals of the So You Think You Are Funny? new act competition in 2000; making the final of the City Live Comedian of the Year for North West acts the following year. Now he’s a regular on the circuit, who has supported Dave Spikey on a UK tour.
