We invite you to join us in our ‘ramble for respite’ fundraising walk taking on the scenic Settle to Malham loop in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Take on the full loop at 14 miles or the short route at 7 miles.
Muster your family, friends or colleagues and sign-up for this fantastic challenge, all while raising vital funds to help disadvantaged, disabled and poorly children to escape their everyday troubles and create happy memories with their families. Whether you choose the long loop or the shorter route, it’s sure to be a fun and memorable day out in the Dales.
If you are taking on the full route, the 14-mile trek starts in Settle, where you will begin your journey hiking up to Malham Cove – a huge curving amphitheatre shaped cliff formation of limestone rock, then across to Landscar Settlement, Jubilee and Victoria Caves, along to to Attermire Scar an impressive limestone outcrop, and descending to Catrigg Force – a hidden waterfall deep within a wooded gorge, then finally the short walk back Settle. Alternatively, you have the option to complete Settle to Malham Cove.
This challenge is led by Ingleton-based Saaig Outdoors, an outdoor adventure company specialising in bespoke adventure activities.
We’re recruiting happy hikers to join us in our ‘ramble for respite’. Help us raise vital funds for children who are suffering with long-term illnesses, mental health issues, disabilities and children living in poverty by helping fund free respite breaks to our holiday homes in Blackpool and the Lake District.
