Outdoor learning skills day – Grassington
April 28 @ 10:30 am - 2:00 pm
A practical skills day in Grass Wood (Grassington), led by the Outdoor Learning Officer for the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority.
Suitable for Primary School teachers and support staff who work in and around the Yorkshire Dales National Park who would like to build confidence and skills in outdoor learning.
Build your confidence in outdoor learning with a focus on making curriculum links in a woodland environment. We will try a range of practical activities that you can use with your pupils. Activities will be guided by the needs and interests of the group but are likely to include shelter building, identification skills and natural crafts. The session will also look at conducting robust risk assessments for outdoor learning activities. Sign up here
