A nocturnal journey from Mallerstang to Marske under the beautiful skies of the Yorkshire Dales International Dark Sky Reserve.

Arrive early at the newly extended Dales Bike Centre Cafe with pizza specials, cake and hot drinks available from 17:00.

From 18:00 there may be an opportunity for viewing of Venus, Jupiter and a crescent moon in the early twilight.

From 18:30 – 19:30, as full darkness falls, we will visit many well – and lesser – known Dales locations through the eyes of local nightscape photographer Paul Clark.

Weather permitting, this will be followed by night sky tours with the use of telescopes manned by Reeth Informal Astronomy Group.

If cloudy, a virtual sky tour will be presented.
