National Meadows Day at Hazel Brow Farm

Join us at Hazel Brow Farm to celebrate National Meadows Day, a UK-wide celebration of our beautiful and increasingly rare wildflower meadows.

Set in the heart of Swaledale, our traditional hay meadows will be at their colourful midsummer peak. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience these special landscapes up close, learn about the wildlife they support, and discover why protecting them is so important.

Visitors can explore the farm and enjoy a range of nature-inspired activities and workshops suitable for all ages. From learning about meadow plants and pollinators to discovering how traditional farming helps maintain these habitats, it will be a relaxed and enjoyable day celebrating farming, nature, and the countryside.

Our self-guided nature trail will be open all day, allowing visitors to explore the meadows at their own pace.

More details about the day’s activities will be announced on our website soon – https://hazelbrowfarm.org/bookings/national-meadows-day-saturday-2nd-july-2022/

Booking is essential.
