Join our small group guided walk to let us show you our favourite spot to watch the sun set over the Dales – a stunning view and rarely another person in sight!

Enjoy a short (if steep!) walk from West Burton, taking in a beautiful waterfall, pretty woodland, fossil spotting and far reaching views before taking a break to watch the sun set behind the hills (don’t forget to bring your ‘sundowner’!). Return to the village as night falls.

DATE AND TIME: 13 May 2023 at 7.30pm

DISTANCE: 3 miles (200m ascent)

DURATION: 2 hours including time for a ‘sundowner’ as the sun sets!

TERRAIN: Clear paths and tracks with a steep hill at the outset. The descent is more gradual on a broad but rocky track.
