A wonderful introduction to the Howgill Fells that sit between the rolling Yorkshire Dales and the imposing Lakeland mountains. Meet in the charming small town of Sedbergh and head for the summit of Winder by way of pretty Settlebeck Gill. Stunning views from the outset only get better as we gain height, culminating in a wonderful 360 degree view from the summit, which stretches over much of the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and Morecambe Bay. A fantastic reward for relatively little effort!
