Join one of our popular ‘slow walks’ led by local residents Sue & Les Knight who are experts on the mosses of Upper Swaledale.  After an introductory session, with hand lenses in the visitor centre, to allow familiarisation with some species, we will head outside for a local walk.  The pace of our mosses walks is often described as ‘glacial’ in order to allow everyone time to study the various specimens
