Gargrave based ceramist, Allison Wiffen, trained at Camberwell College of Art. Allison enjoys working with line and pattern formed by repetition, making her work quite graphic. Her ceramics are wheel thrown and fired at a high temperature making them very robust. Allison also produces handmade ceramic jewellery with themes that include architecture and patterns from the twentieth century. She will be showcasing and selling her ceramics at Malham National Park Visitor Centre on Saturday 7th October, 10am to 5pm. A great opportunity to buy something unique. www.awceramics.co.uk
