A moderate 4½ mile (7½ km) walk on Malham Moor. Hear about the Bronze Age people, Romans, Norsemen, Monks and Drovers, all of whom have left their mark on the landscape. See Bronze Age burial sites, an ancient trackway, a seventeenth century farmhouse, and hear about the drovers who held a huge cattle fair on the moor.
The route is on good paths with a moderate climb and a small number of stiles.
Please wear outdoor clothing appropriate to the weather on the day and sturdy shoes with good grips and bring a packed lunch and drink.
