Looking at North Country Quilts

June 29 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

two quilts overlapping each other. One orange and one pink

During this lovely North Country Quilts Day, Kate Smith and Elizabeth Nally will share their knowledge, experience and information about the history, patterns and designs of a North Country quilt and explain what it is, who made them and some of the social history.

You will look at the detail of the designs and they will share their collection to show lots of different styles etc.

Practical sessions follow where standard patterns can be traced from books, templates used and you will be shown ways in which these were transferred to the quilts.

Lunch light is included
