Langcliffe Singers at Christmas – a ceremony of carols

Get those bells jingling! In Langcliffe Singer’s Christmas concert, there is something for everyone – festive favourites, Christmas classics and new music. Britten’s Ceremony of Carols will be accompanied by guest harpist Maxine Molin, who will be playing a medley of carols as a solo item as well. The programme will also feature choruses from Messiah, arrangements of carols by the choir’s Musical Director Darren Everhart, Spellbound, a beautiful setting of an Emily Bronte poem by Vahan Solarian, and Rutter’s Nativity Carol. There are opportunities for audience participation in popular carols and the Hallelujah chorus. The choir will be accompanied by Brian Heaton and Darren Everhart.
