Half Term Art Club: Dark Skies Festival

We will be celebrating the Yorkshire Dales & North York Moors Dark Skies Festival this February Half Term holiday!
Working on watercolour paper and using the ‘wet on wet’ method, we’ll create some beautiful landscape paintings of Yorkshires Dales night sky featuring the northern lights. We’ll also spend some time looking at the work of the Artist Ted Harrison and allow his work to influence our paintings. £7.50.
- Art Club is aimed at young people aged 10-18yrs.
- There will be two sessions 10am – 12pm & 2pm – 4pm.
- Sessions take place in our fantastic, new Education Room.
- There are 15 places per session

There will be a special Craven Museum Dark Skies Trail Sheet available. See the objects at Craven Museum like never before and explore the collection through the lens of a telescope! Spot our items and zoom in on their detail with this trail. You can use the telescope that you make at our Wednesday Make & Take, or borrow one from us. FREE.
