Geminids Meteor Shower at The Station Inn Ribblehead

Come and join astronomers from “Go Stargazing” for an evening of spotting shootings stars in the inky sky above the Station Inn.

The Yorkshire Dales National Park has been designated a “Dark Sky Reserve” by the International Dark Sky Association and on a clear night as well as 1000’s of stars & some distant planets, the Milky Way is often clearly visible.

There will be a presentation next to the roaring fire in the Victorian range during which you will be served with a lovely bowl of hotpot to ensure you are nice and warm before heading outside to see the shooting stars from the “Geminids Meteor Shower”. Do make sure you bring woolly hats and blankets!
