Flora and Fauna of Upper Wensleydale

Join our experienced Dales Volunteers on this 4 mile (6.4km) walk exploring the flora and fauna in this area. The walk follows part of the riverside where flowers and birds can be seen. Walk along Sedbusk lane to Simonstone, taking in the flowers found on the waysides. On to Shaw Ghyll to see the waterfalls and plants like wild garlic like to grow. Red Squirrels are known to be spotted in this area too! Starts at the Dales Countryside Museum. Booking Essential. £5. No dogs allowed.
