Farm Animal Experience
An event every week that begins at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, repeating until Tuesday 3 September, 2024
Come and spend some time with us at Hazel Brow Farm in Swaledale. Get to meet Fluffy the friendly Masham ewe, our Angora Goats Polly, Pickle and Popcorn and of course our Alpacas Apollo, Aramis and friends.
During your ‘Farm Animal Experience’, you will have the chance to interact with and help feed the goats, sheep, geese and alpacas, learn about life on a working farm, the other animals we keep and the wildlife that live in our meadows.
This Summer Holiday take the ‘Yellow Marker’ route around the meadow and see if you can track down all the animals hidden in the trees and hedgerows. Find the animal information box and then search nearby to see if you can spot a rabbit, red squirrel and many other creatures along the way.
And finally …..if the weather is kind to us…..during your visit you will be able to walk through the field alongside Apollo and friends, finishing off with a ‘Sheep Race’ across the pasture.
Animal Experiences are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the Summer starting at 1:30pm. Please book your visit through our website
