Dark Skies Planet Trail at Aysgarth Falls National Park Visitor Centre

The Yorkshire Dales National Park is a place where you can find the most wondrous star-filled skies, free from light pollution. Learn fun facts about the planets and star constellations in our solar system along the self-guided Trail.
The Planet Trail will be on display within Freeholders Wood, which is just a few metres away from Aysgarth Falls National Park Visitor Centre and the delicious Coppice Café. For Visitor Centre opening times see the Aysgarth National Park Visitor Centre page on our website.
The trail is approximately 1.5km to complete the full circuit including the waterfalls. This Planet Trail will be on display (24hrs per day) in the woodland from 9th February to the 25th February 2024, as part of the Yorkshire Dales Dark Skies Festival.
Booking is not required.
