Dark Skies Night Hike

Gaze in awe at the Milky Way, marvel at millions of stars and soak up the unique atmosphere of an evening hike on one of our Dark Skies Night Hikes in the Yorkshire Dales. We will head to heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where there are exceptionally dark skies and a magnificent nocturnal environment. Our Dark Skies Night Hikes are guided by Mark Reid, a very experienced Mountain Leader who knows the Yorkshire Dales extremely well, so you can simply relax and follow Mark whilst marvelling at the night sky above! If there is cloud cover then a route will be chosen that showcases the very best of night walking – differing terrains, historic remains and nocturnal wildlife.

Our Dark Skies Night Hikes start at 6pm and finish by 10:30pm, from various villages in the Yorkshire Dales.
