Whether you join us for the evening or choose to stay the night and wake to a stunning Yorkshire Dales morning, this is an unforgettable way to celebrate the Dark Skies Festival.

An Evening Under the Stars

As dusk settles, you’ll be welcomed with warming drinks and the glow of our outdoor firepits, setting the scene for a relaxed, winter’s evening.

Bonfire-Style Supper by the Firepits

Enjoy a cosy, fireside supper inspired by classic bonfire nights. Expect hearty seasonal dishes, and plenty of time to unwind by the flames.

Guided Stargazing with a Local Astronomer

Once fed and warmed, step into the darkness for a guided stargazing experience led by expert  astronomer Richard Darn.
Learn to navigate the night sky, spot constellations and planets, and — weather permitting — explore deep-sky objects through telescopes provided.
Beginners are very welcome.
