DalesRunner 40km and Semerwater Stomp

The DR40 is the spectacular finale to the series, starting and finishing in the heart of Raydale. Run over less technical terrain than the first two races in the series, the route takes you over Stake Moss with spectacular views over to Buckden Pike. Then follows a beautiful section of the Dales Way along the River Wharfe, a section of Roman road and a trip around Weather Fell before descending towards Semerwater.

The course consists of hard packed footpaths, quite a few road sections and some grassy trods, in good weather this route would suit a road or road to trail shoe. If you don’t fancy the full 42km, the Semerwater Stomp is the short course option at 16km.
