Craven Museum Make & Take: Dark Skies Festival

Join us for a relaxed, space themed family craft session in the Concert Hall, suitable for children of all ages. Children will be able to make their own retractable telescopes with constellation wheels and a Dark Skies postcard. FREE.

This Make & Take is inspired by North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales Dark Skies Festival.

Donations towards the running of this event gratefully received.

There are two sessions –
10 – 11am
1pm – 2pm

You no longer need to book for Make & Take sessions… Just drop in!

All week:

There will be a special Craven Museum Dark Skies Trail Sheet available. See the objects at Craven Museum like never before and explore the collection through the lens of a telescope! Spot our items and zoom in on their detail with this trail. You can use the telescope that you make at our Wednesday Make & Take, or borrow one from us. FREE.
