Mike will be present on the morning of 25th March, (also Shap’s monthly market day), to enable visitors to ‘Meet the Maker’. He is also holding a Drama Workshop on Saturday 1st April.
Much of his work on display is inspired by his fascination with Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ a magical play that he has directed several times. Plants form an integral part of his particular brand of Surrealism with natural forms spilling over into the representation of humans.
