We welcome Sam Cornwell, inventor of the Solarcan, for a tour into outer space to explore art & sculpture that has left Earth’s atmosphere. From Sagan’s Gold Voyager disc to RocketLab’s disco ball and beyond we will discuss and look at our civilisation’s culture that now inhabits the heavens and why art important to human space exploration. A positive and fitting end to this year’s National Parks Dark Skies Festival!

This event takes place as part of the National Parks Virtual Dark Skies Festival 2021, an annual celebration of the wonderful dark skies above the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors International Dark Sky Reserves.
