Orton is a 13th Century small market village which looks out over views of Orton Scar and the Howgills. Bridges cross and recross the two village becks enclosing a small central green that shares space with 17th and 18th century cottages.

Standing proud on the hillside is All Saints Church, a welcome site for people passing by on the coast to coast. The building dates from the 13th century and the white tower can be seen from miles around.

The walk is approx 4 miles long and passes by Gamesland Stone Circle.

We will meet at Orton Market Hall at 10.30am. The walk is suitable for people using a sturdy all terrain wheelchair such as a Tramper or TerrainHopper

It is a free event but we ask you to book your place.
