- Learning to work confidently with a limited palette.
- Looking for the patterns and textures in the environment.
- Looking for contrast and harmony, warm and cool, receding and advancing in colour.
- Observing and recording colour using mixed media collage and dry media and paint in a sketchbook to develop confidence and explore before completing a final developed painting on gesso board.
