50. A Dedicated Cheese Menu at The Old Sawmill Café

Discover the history and heritage of this listed building whilst tasting their one-off menu of cheesy classics, focusing on local suppliers.
From Friday 6th-Monday 9th October we’ll be running the menu below, as well as our usual offering!
- A hearty bowl of leek, potato, wholegrain mustard & St Andrew’s Cheddar soup, served with a bread roll. (GF roll available, V) – £6.50
- Head for the Swiss Alps with our gooey raclette, made with Ogleshield cheese and served with new potatoes, cornichons & pickled onions. (GF, V) – £11.50
- Yorkshire Rarebit made with Sparkenhoe Vintave Red Leicester, Yoredale Wensleydale & St Andrew’s Cheddar, served on a crusty slice of artisan bread with a salad garnish and pickle. (GF bread available, V) – £8.75
From Saturday 7th to Sunday 15th October, Yorkshire based artist Brian Hindmarch (@brian_printer) will be in residence in The Reginald Farrer Room. Brian’s wonderful selection of works, particularly of Yorkshire & Scotland, will be on display for viewing and purchase.
