From 6 November to Sunday 17 December 2023 we are open weekends only from 10am – 3.30pm. Our car park is open even when we are closed.

The National Park Visitor Centre is based on the edge of the lovely town of Grassington in the heart of Wharfedale. There is a large car park as well a a large coach park and toilets (a small charge applies), including a Radar toilet. There is also a picnic area and recyling facilities. There is also an electric car charger point in the car park.
A short walk takes you into the village centre, or you can walk down to the River Wharfe, see Linton Falls and enjoy a walk alongside the river. The National Park Visitor Centre Information Advisers can also point you in the direction of other lovely walks in the area.
Grassington is accessible by bus from Skipton. There are also some bus services from Ilkley. Both Ilkley and Skipton have good rail connections.
The National Park Visitor Centre is a great starting point for anyone wanting to make the most of this beautiful area. There are guide books and leaflets and of course, friendly staff to help you enjoy the National Park in just the way you want.
