Malham is famed for its stunning limestone scenery with some of the best-known natural wonders in the National Park. The soaring limestone ‘amphitheatre’ of Malham Cove can be found a short walk along good paths from Malham village. The top is reached by 400 stone steps or by following the Landscape Trail to come down the steps. The Malham Landscape Trail – taking in all the key sites – it can be picked up at the Malham National Park Visitor Centre.
The dramatic gorge of Gordale Scar and waterfall are close by. After which you can walk through woodland to the Janet’s Foss waterfall.
