Our Festivals are a great way to promote your businesses and capitalise on the special qualities the National Park has to offer. Two of our special qualities which the Yorkshire Dales National Park is recognised for are dark skies and local produce.
To celebrate this, and mark the area as a destination to experience these special qualities, the Yorkshire Dales Cheese Festival and the Dark Skies Festival were developed to promote this. They also create an opportunity for businesses to attract visitors at an off peak time of year, in turn, extending the visitor season. Hosting a Dark Skies Festival event or creating a unique experience for the Cheese Festival will benefit your business in so many ways.
