As you know, we are famous for cheese in the Dales and this reflects the wonderful farmers and producers we have in the area, and of course we are proud of it, but there are many other delicious local products, special to the area…
As with the Dark Skies Festival, local produce is one of the Yorkshire Dales’ special qualities. Our Cheese Festival, Celebrating Local Produce helps to recognise this and mark the Yorkshire Dales National Park as a destination for its fantastic local food and drink offer. Businesses are encouraged to host events, create amazing Yorkshire themed menus and promote local cheese and produce during the Festival.
