The Yorkshire Dales National Park is a welcoming place where everyone can get closer to nature, improve their health and well-being, spend time with other people, learn new skills and enjoy our beautiful landscapes.
Our programme of day visits and residentials for community and health groups are fun and accessible for all. For family and adult groups our programme offers visits that connect them to nature for health and well-being.
For more active groups we can run practical conservation tasks where participants will work with specialist staff to learn new skills and make a difference to nature.
We work to support people from all groups to develop a deeper relationship with the National Park, whether that’s as an independent visitor, a volunteer or taking up employment in the environmental sector. Our group visits are the start of the journey, for people who want to do more we run projects with partner organisations that offer training and volunteering opportunities.

Supported Visits
We offer a programme of supported visits and residential opportunities for people from underrepresented communities. All our visits aim to introduce people to something special about the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
