Join Chris and botanist Heather to discover the rich variety of wild flowers in and around Grassington. Explore the ginnels of Grassington and meander through meadows, then walk through Grass Wood before returning along the banks of the River Wharfe.
This is a 5 mile (8 km) walk but the emphasis is on wildflower identification, there will be lots of stopping and looking so the distance covered may well be less.
Walk starts from Grassington National Park Centre BD23 5LB.
There are stiles along the way and the paths may be rough or uneven.
Please wear outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather, sturdy footwear and bring a snack and drink.
